Gastritis is called a disease of the century and can be diagnosed in 2/3 of the world's population. The disease is usually asymptomatic, but with a tendency to progression. Chronic gastritis can eventually develop into a peptic ulcer and even stomach cancer. Clinical nutrition is not the only one, but an important part of the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. What diet is recommended for gastritis: what can and should not use gastroenterologist patients?

Diet principles

The organization of proper nutrition for gastritis means a complete review of the diet, exclusion of foods that irritate the gastric mucosa. Steamed and boiled dishes are preferred. For any type of gastritis, it is forbidden to eat fried and fatty foods.

Foods for gastritis of the stomach are organized taking into account the rules:

  • the optimum temperature for food is 20 to 50 °;
  • meals are taken at the same time, 5 to 6 times a day;
  • avoid overeating;
  • when choosing a diet for gastritis, take into account the concomitant diseases;
  • exclude alcohol, smoking;
  • refuse smoked, pickled and spicy dishes;
  • have dinner 2-3 hours before going to bed;
  • chew food well;
  • refrain from snacking while running;
  • can drink 30 minutes after eating;
  • boil the food well.

This mode has a beneficial effect on the regeneration of the mucous membrane. The menu for gastritis of the stomach should be varied, include a sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals. The patient must not starve.

In people with low acidity, digestion is difficult due to a lack of enzymes. The signs of this pathology are poor appetite, weight loss, pale skin, and vitamin deficiencies.

Coarse food causes aggravation. People with hypoacid gastritis should not consume:

  • fruit with skin;
  • berries with seeds: raspberries, strawberries, currants;
  • pure milk.

The list of foods for high acid gastritis is roughly the same as for the hyperacid form. There are differences in diet. With low acidity, you can use:

  • sour fruits, vegetables and berries (citrus also belong to this group);
  • pickles;
  • tomatoes;
  • fruit juices.

Special attention is paid to mincing food. It is advisable to eat in a relaxed atmosphere, chew well. With low acidity, intolerance to meat, milk, eggs is possible. In this case, foods that cause discomfort are excluded from the diet so as not to provoke complications of gastritis.

Diet with exacerbation of gastritis

The first meals for a gastritis diet include vegetarian soups. Fatty broths increase the production of secretory fluid, so they should not be consumed by people with high stomach acid and ulcerative gastritis. The best options for the first course are the slimy rice soup and the vegetable puree soup.

To prepare oatmeal soup, you need 0. 5 rolled oats, 600 ml of water, salt. The oats are cooked for 10-15 minutes. Such a soup can be prepared with the addition of a lezon, a mixture of milk and eggs.
